San Diego – NBC 7 sues San Diego

The fast-growing club of San Diego industries, COVID-19, is suing the county for sanctions, adding 25 more members.

Last week, 25 Jim filed a lawsuit against San Diego for the right to reopen. Under the state’s stay-home order, and the purple level limits that go beyond it, the gym is not allowed to run indoors.

A gym in the East Village, like the Buxing Club, which sells itself as places for luxury workouts and wellness experiences – there is also a chandelier on the Bussing Ring.

“It’s really hard to sell luxury when you’re working in the parking lot,” Artem Sharoshkin, CEO of the boxing club, told NBC7.

In March, like many county gym owners, Sharoshkin remained closed for months.

“Initially, we were told we were literally risking people’s lives.”

But now, in the nine months since the epidemic, Shroshkin is struggling to figure out why his nearly 2 2 million facility is going to be empty.

“I can’t tell you a week where we didn’t think, ‘Shall we spend it this month?’ Said Sharoshkin.

Now, the new lawsuit involves boxing clubs from 25 gyms claiming the county.

“Already enough,” said one of the attorneys representing Charlotte Nazar’s gym. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. “

Nazare said that at the moment, closing the gym allowing retailers to remain open is not only arbitrary, it is unwarranted by the county’s own metrics.

“We’re not saying no,” Nazareth said. “We will not allow the gym to open. But will we let liquor stores and tobacco stores open? ”

Between June and December, the county reported more than 118,000 positive COVID-19 cases. After they were notified, county activists visited more than 68,000 people who caught the virus and explored the community’s possible circumstances.

Jim is associated with a potential 277 cases or 0.4% of potential exposure. Compare that to retail, which had an exposure of more than 0000 or to.2%. Workplaces claimed the highest potential exposure, with more than 22,600 positive cases.

“Now that we have clear evidence to support what we have begun to believe, we will have to reopen the gym,” Sharoshkin said.
