Samurai JackThe last season aired in 2017, but the time traveler samurai is back for a new adventure in Samurai Jack: Battle through time. The new game, which puts players in the shoes of Samurai Jack as he embarks on a new adventure against an old enemy (Aku, who else?), Will be available to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One starting August 21.
Battle through time He will join at the end of the series, uniting Samurai Jack with old allies like The Scotsman, Scaramouche, and Sir Rothchild as he travels to places, and times, featured throughout the series. Players will be able to equip Jack with more than a dozen different weapons, as well as unlock various abilities to help defeat Aku’s forces.
The game brings Genndy Tartakovsky’s iconic 2D art style to the 3D world, and brings back Phil LaMarr as the voice of Jack, as well as Greg Baldwin (who replaced the late Mako during the show’s final season) as the Aku’s voice. Also, the game was written by the lead writer for the original show, Darrick Bachman, so if you miss the animated series, the new game can help scratch that itch.
