Samsung briefly unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 2 earlier this month at Galaxy Unpacked 2020, but it kept most details for later. The company told Galaxy Unpacked that it will host a separate event specifically for its new folding phone on September 1. Now the company has announced Unpacked part 2 where the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in all its glory will be detailed.
Unpacked Part 2 will be a virtual event, the same as Galaxy Unpacked 2020. It will launch on September 1st at 10 AM ET and the company confirmed that it will examine the groundbreaking features of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in depth. If the event is going to be something like Galaxy Unpacked 2020, we can also get some interesting stories about the development of the foldable phone and the thought process that went into making the sequel.
In other words, we hope Samsung still has some interesting stories and technical details to share with fans, though several early practical videos with the Galaxy Z Fold 2 have already been published by third parties. Until now, the collapsible phone-cum-tablet has been featured in early videos on YouTube and TikTok from all over the world. We had to see Flex Mode in action along with numerous other features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is scheduled to be available for pre-order on the same date, September 1st. The company is also expected to reveal more details about the Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition, its price, and availability. Unpacked part 2 should be livestreamed on YouTube and we will update this story to include the link when we have it. Do you want to join us on September 1st?
