Saints’ Alvin Camara sets NFL record with six racing touchdowns

It didn’t take long for Alvin Camara to delay on Christmas Day.

The New Orleans Saints, running on the early drive of the game to get a quick lead over the Minnesota Vikings, reached back to a touchdown of 40 yards. And Lily and Dara did it in style with a pair of Christmas-themed cleats, which could bring fines from the league.

Kamara made six touchdowns against the Vikings and now has 21 touchdowns in his season – his career is high. His six Rushing TDs are tied with Ernie Nevers (Chicago Cardinals, 1929) in most of the game in NFL history. Kamara also elevated his career with Yards with SchemeMage. Earlier this week it was named the fourth Pro Bowl in four years.

The Saints’ offensive line also deserves credit, even on the day when both starting defenders Andres Pete and Nick Easton were out with injuries. The line opened a big hole for Kamra in front of the Minnesota injury survivor defense.

Kamara can also benefit from her festive cleats.
