Rudy Giuliani says progressive mayors have brought a ‘wave of lawlessness’

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has slammed former Vice President Joe Biden at the Republican Convention for conducting television interviews from his basement – but did not raise his signature allegations against Biden’s son, Hunter.

Giuliani, who served as one of Trump’s attorneys on indictment, referred to his own anti-crime data when he slammed into progressive mayors, who accused him of causing a spate in violent crime.

He blew up New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, claiming he and others “prevented the police from making arrests.”

“Liberal progressive district attorneys are releasing the rules so as not to disturb the rules,” he said.

‘Today my city is in shock. Murders, shootings and violent crimes are increasing in increasing percentages in the past. We see the re during riots, ‘he said, after a series of speakers on Wednesday praised Donald Trump’s’ law and order’ approach.

He said a vote for Biden would ‘bring this lawlessness to your city to your city to your suburb’ – after days of protests and riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin over Jacob Blake’s police shooting.

“Biden has changed his principles so often that he no longer has principles,” Giuliani said, in only one of his striking attacks.

“He is a Trojan horse with Bernie, AOC, Pelosi, Black Lives Matter and the far left wing of his party who were just waiting to adopt heirloom anti-police socialist policies,” he said.

Giuliani has adapted his attacks mostly to crime – an indication that the Trump campaign thinks that ongoing unrest in cities in battlefield states could provide a political opening. Earlier Thursday, President Kellyanne Conway’s adviser told Fox News: ‘The more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence reigns, the better it is for the very clear choice of who is best on public safety, and law and order. ‘

He also posted one of Trump’s favorite attacks on Biden, which he said was not on the ‘great job’.

It’s a job that ‘can not be done from your basement, Joe,’ Giuliani said.

Giuliani then outlined a conspiracy theory in which he claimed there was a chance of reaching a bilingual deal to stop police brutality that Black Lives Matter and Antifi then sabotaged to hurt Trump.

‘It seemed, for a few brief, luminous moments, Democrats and Republican leaders would come together with a uniform proposal to reduce police misconduct. This possibility was left very dangerous. They had to defeat a president and destroy a country. And while an agreement on action against police brutality would be very valuable to the country, it would also make President Trump appear to be an effective leader, ‘Giuliani said.

‘They could have none of that. That Black Lives Matter and Antifa jumped into action and in a flash they cut the peaceful protests into brutal riots, ‘he said.

New York had 318 murders last year, and has seen a spike in violent crime this year. The worst murders while Giuliani was in office were 633, NY1 report. The city is on track to hit at least 430 amid the peak, which has also been seen in other cities.

Giuilani has repeatedly made waves on the TV circuit to claim that Joe Biden had trained a Ukrainian prosecutor as part of a plan to enrich his son Hunter, who took a lucrative job at a Ukrainian energy company, although Biden’s attitude was part of of an effort supported by the U.S. government and Western nation.

He did not bring up the subject in his comments.
