9:53 AM PT – The Yankees totally disagree with Giuliani’s feelings … the team told the New York Times The pregame ceremonies on Friday were “beautiful, respectful, and dignified.”
The statement, published by the team president Randy levine, who Donald Trump he yelled at a White House briefing on Thursday, continuing: “I think Rudy was completely wrong.”
“For me, it showed unity and the desire for a better world, social justice and enlightenment.”
Levine continued: “I did not and no one should take that as disrespect to anyone, including law enforcement or the police.”
Rudy Giuliani he just got burned in the MLB … calling the league’s hymns hypocritical “and saying that Black Lives Matter supporters in baseball are” embarrassing. “
The former New York City mayor and die-hard Yankees fan destroyed the league on Friday morning … just hours after several players, including the Dodgers star Mookie Betts – knelt down not only for the national anthem, but also in support of BLM.

“All those ball players, including the Yankees, who got down on their knees during the country’s National Anthem that made them millionaires is hypocritical.” Donald Trumpsaid the lawyer.
“Support for BLM, which is sparking attacks on our police and innocent people across the United States, is disgraceful.”
As previously reported, Dodgers, Giants, Nationals and Yankees players rallied in support of racial equality ahead of their Opening Day games on Thursday.
The jumbotrons in the stadium played pro-BLM messages … and then the teams took a long piece of black cloth and knelt down to show the unit.
Some players then knelt for the resulting national anthem.
Of course, Giuliani’s disdain for all of this echoes Trump … the President has repeatedly criticized kneeling protests over the past few months, and recently called the demonstrations “a sign of great disrespect”.
