ZTE has announced the launch of one of the cheapest gaming smartphones of 2020, one very well equipped in terms of price: ZTE Nubia Play.
The phone comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor with built-in 5G modem, capacitive side buttons, liquid-based cooling system, and a 5100 mAh battery with fast charge at 30W.
Complete Specifications for ZTE Nubia Play:
- 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass protection;
- Qualcomm Snpdragon 765G octa-core processor, Adreno 620 GPU, 6/8 GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128/256 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage;
- Android 10 with nubiaUI 8.0 interface;
- 5G SA + NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a / b / g / n / ac, dual band 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, Beidou, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner built-in digital display, stereo speakers;
- 48-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX582 sensor, f / 1.75, 0.8 µm + 8-megapixel ultra-wide at 120 degrees + 2-megapixel macro + 2-megapixel for depth of field, 12-megapixel front camera, f / 2.4;
- 5100 mAh battery with fast charge at 30W, 210 gr. weight and dimensions 171.7 × 78.5 × 9.1 mm.
Notice that some normal compromises have been made, and here I mean UFS 2.1 storage memory, LPDDR4X RAM memory, Wi-Fi hub etc. These would have seriously raised the cost, excellent in its current form (it is true that we are talking about Chinese prices):
- 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage space – $ 339;
- 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage space – $ 381;
- 8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of storage space – $ 424.
