Augustin Zegrean, former president of the Constitutional Court, explained what happens with the notification to the RCC against the motion of censure, if the Orban government does not vote today.
Augustin Zegrean, former president of the Constitutional Court, explained exclusively for DC News what will happen if the NLP Government does not move, in the context of the notification to the RCC and what will follow from a legal point of view.
CCR decision, effect in the future
“If the Government falls, it falls, but it will remain in charge of the country’s affairs until the formation of the new Government. It has nothing to do with the referral to the Constitutional Court. Therefore, this notification does not affect in any way the debate, adoption or non-adoption of the motion of censure. If the CCR says at the end that they were unable to present a motion in a special session, then things will change in the future and it will no longer be possible to present a motion.. I believe, from what I see, I do not believe that another government will be appointed until the parliamentary elections. The measure to establish a government in 45 days is in force, but we will see what happens ”, declared Augustin Zegrean. DC News.
