The president of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Marcel Ciolacu, affirms, in a message posted on Facebook on Thursday, that 2020 was a terrible year and 2021 heralds a year of austerity, but promises that in the next year the Social Democrats will do so. they will return to “finally crush” the right-wing coalition that took office.
“They wanted to subjugate Romania in 2020. They wanted to have full control. And that is why they were able to gamble clandestinely with their lives, because they had no other answer to stop the pandemic. You didn’t let them. Romanians are the true heroes of this year ! You !!! You are the ones who found solutions, when the state left you on your own! And then you showed them by vote that you are stronger than them. Therefore, the best lesson of this year is that each of us it can make a difference and we must all try to change the things that do not suit us, ”says the PSD leader.
He claims that 2021 will be one of austerity, “an extremely difficult year for millions of families” and therefore urges Romanians to stand up and make their voices heard again.
“2020 was a terrible year. And 2021 heralds a year of austerity, an extremely difficult year for millions of families! That is why I urge you to stand up, get involved and make your voice heard again! Together, we have managed to stop the roll of the right in 2020. Together, we will return in 2021 to finally crush the coalition of losers. We will defeat this treacherous virus and get our lives back! We will return prosperity, justice and hope! Together, we change Romania in 2021! ”, concludes Marcel Ciolacu’s message.
