Vrancea police and gendarmes guard the home of Marian Oprisan, from Bolotesti, where a group of protesters, led by George Simion, president of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), was occupying the area in front of the camp, according to Adevarul.
Simion says he wants to know from Marian Oprisan, the president of the Vrancea County Council, where he has so much wealth. “We are in front of Oprisan’s house, we will not leave here until he explains to us where his villa of 3 million euros (him, that is, his mother) comes from,” Simion wrote on his Facebook page.
The protesters carry tricolor flags and some of them have already been fined.
Three weeks ago, the same Simion was in Vrancea and filmed two houses that became famous, namely the domain of the President of the Vrancea City Council, Marian Oprisan, of KM 27 and the house of the Minister of Public Works, Development and Administration, Ion Stefan, called “Grinda” precisely because of the house.
