A man from Bucharest, who posted a video on a social network in which he threatened a person and his family, was captured by the police. They searched the suspect’s home, where they found several knives, as well as a compressed air pistol. After the hearings, the man was arrested.

“On 08/27/2020, a person appeared at Police Station 19 who denounced that that same day, around 10:00 a.m., a video was published on a social network, in which a man directed threats at him, both they and the family, during filming they were presented with a sword and a pistol. Investigations and hearings were initiated as a matter of urgency, and a 52-year-old man was identified, ”the Capital Police reported on Saturday.

The cited source specified that the investigations were initiated, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 5th District Court, regarding the commission of threatening crimes and non-compliance with the weapons and ammunition regime.

“This morning, a search warrant was issued at the man’s house and several sharp objects and a compressed air pistol (not subject to authorization) were identified and seized. The man was transferred to the headquarters of the police station, where after the hearings ordered the arrest measure ”, also transmitted the Capital Police.

The investigations are being continued by Police Station 19 under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 5th District Court, in the aspect of the commission of the threatening crime.
