According to CNSU, when entering Romania, people arriving from countries / areas / territories with high epidemiological risk must present a document certifying the negative result of an RT-PCR test, carried out no later than 72 hours before boarding the plane. or bus (for those traveling by public transport) or entry to the national territory (for those traveling by their own means), the quarantine measure is established at the domicile or at the declared place for a period of 10 days.
“For people arriving from the provided countries / areas / territories and who do not present upon entering a document proving the negative result of an RT-PCR test for infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the measure of quarantine at home or in the place declared location for a period of 14 days ”, says the decision, being valid for those, for example, who enter the country with personal cars.
Likewise, persons arriving from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland must present at the entrance the certificate of a negative RT-PCR test carried out no later than 72 hours before boarding (for those traveling in means of transport in common ) or entry into national territory (for those who travel on their own) and in quarantine at home or in the declared place for a period of 14 days.
