The Emergency Ordinance, which covers several areas and provides for the cap on the salaries of public servants, was approved on Wednesday at the government meeting. “We needed this ordinance right now, this encouragement to be able to build the budget from here. We will start the budget discussions next week,” Cîțu said.
Florin Cîțu specified that the application of the regulatory act will lead to budgetary savings of 17.6 billion lei by 2021. The first article provides for the maintenance of pensioners’ salaries at the December 2020 level. one billion lei.
Another provision is the granting in 2021 of holiday vouchers worth 1,450 lei each.
Another measure is to keep the fine point at 145 lei.
