The deputy mayors of the Capital were elected
Also at today’s meeting, Stelian Bujduveanu (PNL) and Horia Tomescu (USR-PLUS) were elected deputy mayors of the Capital, after the vote in the Bucharest General Council.
Initially, the meeting was interrupted for an hour with the PSD municipal councilors present in the room, after they refused to participate in the debates in the room intended for them.

The leader of the PSD group, Aurelian Bădulescu, replied that Smighelschi expresses personal opinions and that the presence of the PSD councilors in the CGMB room is legitimate. He accused the president of a “fascist attitude”, adding that PSD representatives have the same rights as the president. “You are not a teacher, you are a colleague like us, we are going to put ourselves on the agenda,” said the former deputy mayor.
