The National Committee for Emergency Situations approved the extension of the state of alert in the country’s territory, starting on Wednesday, January 13, for a period of 30 days. Restrictions, including a ban on partying or driving at night, remain in effect.

“It is proposed to extend the state of alert to the entire national territory, for a period of 30 days, starting on 01/13/2021”, establishes art. 1 of CNSU Decision no. 3/2021, detailing the measures and restrictions in the annex.

Some of the restrictions decided by the authorities:

  • It is considered necessary to maintain the obligation to wear a protective mask in public spaces, at work, in commercial spaces, as well as in public transport.
  • It is proposed to maintain the prohibition of holding meetings on the occasion of holidays, anniversaries, parties in closed and / or open, public and / or private spaces.
  • It is proposed to maintain the prohibition of organizing private events (weddings, baptisms, festive meals, etc.) in closed and open spaces such as, among others, lounges, cultural centers, restaurants, bars, cafes, event rooms / tents. .
  • It is proposed to maintain the prohibition of traffic within the localities for people in pedestrian groups of more than 6 people who do not belong to the same family, as well as the formation of such groups.
  • It is proposed to maintain the prohibition of traffic in all localities, for all people, outside the home / home between 23:00 and 05:00, with justified exceptions.
