With his well-known plea and gifted with the instinct of a politician who correlates data on the ground very well with the PSD behind-the-scenes environment, Adrian Năstase inserted some red flags for the party leadership between the lines. Among those attacked is Marcel Ciolacu, the current president of the Social Democrats.
Adrian Năstase reproaches Ciolacu for some errors in ideological positioning, but also the fact that his messages failed to mobilize the party’s electoral reserve. At the same time, the former prime minister draws the attention of the PSD leader who does not have the support of some heavy names in the party’s entourage, a key aspect especially close to a parliamentary election that seems more important than ever.
“What voters will not go to the polls?”
This was the title chosen by Adrian Năstase for the analysis of the current situation in the PSD and the period remaining until December 6, the date of the parliamentary elections in Romania. The demobilization of the opposition electorate and the mobilization of its own voters are considered essential by Nastase for the future political event.
The former Social Democratic leader also identified campaign issues that the party should focus on in an attempt to score well in this parliamentary election. “Some of my friends tell me they won’t go to the polls. Because it seems to them that the PSD accepts with resignation the condition of the opposition party or because it does not like Marcel Ciolacu, or because I do not think that taking charge of some right-wing issues is a way to modernize the party’s message.
And the list of reasons can go on. For other reasons, none of the NLP or USR voters, including those related to the health crisis or government action, will go to the polls. Again, they will vote not for something, but against something. Hence the importance of the ZONE from which the majority will not vote.
“Demobilizing” the voters of the opponents will be just as important as mobilizing your own voters. Many PSD supporters believe that the party will be in opposition in the next election cycle anyway, and therefore should not make an effort to go to the polls on December 6. A wrong reasoning, “said Năstase.
Iohannis and Caramitru, the “highlights” of Năstase
Even in such a case, the number of seats for the “blocking minority” in Parliament will count for a lot, so that certain aberrant measures are not passed by the “Parliament of Iohannis”. So, dear friends, even if you are not satisfied with the current situation of the party and its current action, think about preparing the conditions for a vital and responsible attitude in the next four years.
Going to the polls, he will be able to answer some characters like Andrei Caramitru, whom I quote here: «Who votes for the PSD? Who votes in other countries with populist dementia? Those who failed. You get lost somewhere in a town, without money, without friends, without education, without a good job. Retirees who hate young people and the “changes” around them, so full of hatred that even their family runs away from them.
And he votes hysterically to punish the occult, the elite led by Soros and Bill Gheitz, to punish the “sexual Marxists” in the cities who work in IT, to punish the intellectuals. That is, to punish all those who are not as unsuccessful as they are. Because they are convinced that, in fact, it is a great conspiracy: the occult wants them somehow poor. Someone has something to do with them, sir.
What they don’t understand: they are poor and woe to their mother because:
(1) they are stupid and don’t know how to do anything (2) Vote for thieves and villains to be your mayors. How silly they are. And then obviously where they live there is disorder and there is no work (3) They are lazy. If you wanted to, you could switch to high-paying jobs. In big cities or abroad. I could learn a new trade. But no and no, it’s difficult sir.
Give it to us! Well why give it to you? Go to work! That is why I respect those who go abroad to pick strawberries or asparagus, they work honestly, but not the alcoholics in the village bar who swear, complain and vote for the PSD. Lazy and stupid. But many. That is why we all have to go to the polls all the time, otherwise we will end very badly.
Are you among them? I suppose not, and for that reason, if you want to leave the country in the hands of those fans, do not go to the polls with various pretexts. If not, then your vote (no – of these parliamentary elections) will be a vote of no confidence against the government and such characters ”, wrote Adrian Năstase on his blog adriannastase.ro.
