Prince William (38), Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and second in line to the British throne, kept his diagnosis, COVOD-19, secret for several months because he did not want to alarm the country. The information was first published by the British tabloid press, but was later confirmed by the BBC.

“Important things were happening and I didn’t want to worry anyone,” William said at a private event.

Prince William was treated by doctors of the Royal Family, following all the recommendations of the British authorities, isolating himself in a place in Norfolk.

“William was quite affected by the virus. At one point, he was struggling to breathe, so obviously everyone around him was quite concerned,” a source told The Sun. Kensington Palace and Prince William’s office did not offer a point of view.

At the beginning of the pandemic, on March 25, Prince William’s father, Prince Charles of Great Britain (71 years old), tested positive for coronavirus, in good health.
