Another 7,096 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Romania in the last 24 hours, after 21,571 tests, indicating a positive rate of 32%.

To date, in Romania they have been confirmed 360,281 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19).

243,832 patients were declared cured.

Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 7,096 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Until today, 8,926 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection died.

Between the 14.11.2020 (10:00) and the 15.11.2020 (10:00) it was reported 113 deaths (77 men and 36 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bucharest, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Bihor, Botoșani, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Gorj, Galați, Harghita , Hunedoara, Iași, Ilfov, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Vrancea and Vaslui.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 0-9 years, 6 deaths in the age group 40 to 49 years, 17 deaths in the age group 50 to 59 years, 36 deaths in the age group 60 to 69 years, 26 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 27 deaths in the age category for more than 80 years.

106 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 6 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 1 deceased patient, no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,996. Of these, 1,169 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,691,062 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 21,571 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 13,195 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 8,376 upon request.

Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 1,595 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until November 15 have been reported.

In Romania, 46,064 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 13,161 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 80,818 people are quarantined at home, and 23 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
