Romania has been included by the Polish authorities in the list of states with high epidemiological risk, and flights to or from our country will be temporarily suspended as of Wednesday, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted by Agerpres.

According to the MFA, the measure of suspension of flights applies to the more than 40 states included in the list of countries with high epidemiological risk and is valid until September 15, and will be re-evaluated according to epidemiological developments.

According to information publicly provided by the Polish authorities, air flights organized at the request or with the agreement of the Polish Government, humanitarian, medical and search and rescue flights, Polish and foreign military flights, and charter flights planned before entry in force will be exempt. of the decision on the introduction of the new measures.

At the same time, the MFA establishes that persons traveling to Poland from an EU Member State, as well as from the Kingdom of Norway, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Iceland and the Principality of Liechtenstein can continue to enter this state without restrictions or special measures such as mandatory quarantine or self-isolation. Only random checks of travel documents are carried out at the Schengen land border points (with the Federal Republic of Germany, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Lithuania).
