Dan-Cătălin Vatamanu was appointed president, with the rank of secretary of state, of the Environmental Fund Administration by decision of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban. By another decision of the prime minister, Andreea Kohalmi-Szabo was removed from the post of president of the Environmental Fund Administration.

In a first statement from the president of the Environmental Fund Administration, Dan Vatamanu, vice president of PMP Mehedinți, said that his objective is “to help align Romania with the environmental standards of the European Union. In the press release, PMP boasts that it “supports the implementation of environmental policies that will help the sustainable development of Romania.”
