On the other hand, there are many contracts with third parties that can only be revoked, canceled, with the consent of those third parties and of course not all third parties that have a supply contract for City Council companies undertake to terminate said contracts. Then we would have a legal path that would take us years and we have an administrative path, manifested by the will of the majority general councilors, to administratively dissolve these companies ”, said Nicuşor Dan.
He recalled that in the previous CGMB meeting, a special monitoring commission for municipal companies was formed and general meetings were appointed for the vast majority of municipal companies. During Monday’s meeting, the structure of the monitoring committee will be completed and the process for appointing the general meetings will be completed.
“The members of the general boards will appoint the boards of directors and then the managers of these companies. Where there are services – whether delegated or contracted with municipalities structures – we will replace them with structures, with contracts awarded through market tenders. free and when these companies no longer have public services and will be replaced from the public service market provided by individuals, at that time we will be able to abolish municipal companies, as we promised. It is a much faster process than if we went to court and requested their liquidation in the courts ”, commented the mayor general.
