According to data provided by the Strategic Communication Group, since the beginning of the pandemic until now, 324,094 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania.
218,086 patients were declared cured.
After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 9,799 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
24-hour death record
To date, 8,389 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 10.11.2020 (10:00) and 11.11.2020 (10:00) it was reported 203 deaths (116 men and 87 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Arges, Bacau, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Braila, Brasov, Buzau, Calarasi, Caras-Severin, Constanta, Covasna , Dambovita, Dolj, Galati, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iasi, Maramures, Mures, Neamt, Olt, Prahova, Salaj, Satu-Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timis, Tulcea, Valcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, there was one death in the age group 20 to 29 years, three deaths in the age category 30 to 39 years, five deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 31 deaths in the age category age 50 to 59 years, 48 deaths in the age group 60 to 69 years, 57 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 58 deaths in the age group over 80 years.
196 of the deaths registered were of some patients who presented comorbidities, five deceased patients did not present comorbidities and of two deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
Large number of patients in ATI
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12,687. Of these, 1,092 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,557,958 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 38,863 were carried out in the last 24 hours23,110 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 15,753 upon request.
In Romanian territory, 42,760 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,770 people are in institutionalized isolation. In addition, 86,177 people are quarantined at home, and there are 19 people in institutionalized quarantine.
Incidence of more than 7 per thousand, in the county of Sibiu.
The capital and 21 regions are in the red scenario, after the contagion rate exceeded 3 per thousand inhabitants in the last 14 days. A dramatic report is found in Sibiu County, where the ratio has passed 7 per thousand. Three other counties have a rate of more than 6 per thousand.

The areas most affected by the pandemic
Most of the new cases have been reported in the capital and county of Cluj, and more than 300 new illnesses have been reported in six other counties. Thus, the Municipality of Bucharest approved a total of 45,000 cases, reaching 45,741, after another 946 cases were reported on Wednesday, November 11.

In the last 24 hours, 4,489 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 843 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.
More than 8,400 fines for non-compliance with pandemic measures
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 10 of this year, 8,475 misconduct sanctions, amounting to 1,237,685 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, 8 crimes were found yesterday for frustrating the fight against diseases, the deed provided for and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection regulations can be notified.
The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,862 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in Gran Britain, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina,
Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
Coronavirus records in Romania
The highest number of daily cases to date was reported on November 6, 2020. No fewer than 10,260 new infections have been recorded in 24 hours.
On October 23, the largest number of tests was carried out: 41,238, in 24 hours.
The highest number of deaths was recorded on November 10, 2020. Later, the authorities transmitted that 177 Romanians died from the coronavirus.
The largest number of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units (1,093) was reported on November 10, 2020.
In the world, more than 51 million people have been confirmed with the new coronavirus. Another 1.3 million died from COVID-19.
Of the more than 14 million active cases, more than 53,000 patients are in serious condition.
The worst affected nations in the world are the United States, India and Brazil.
