At least six people were killed in a rocket attack on weapons depots in western Syria belonging to pro-Iranian groups, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, according to the Haaretz daily, taken by Mediafax. Syria attributes this attack to Israel.

Several rockets fell during the night from Thursday to Friday on the outskirts of the town of Masyaf, located in western Syria. Ammunition depots, an arms unit and a military research center belonging to pro-Iranian groups were destroyed in the attack, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDO) said.

At least six people died in the attack.

Israel “has launched a new missile attack. Syrian anti-aircraft artillery counterattacked enemy missiles, intercepting most of them,” the Damascus Defense Ministry said.
