The president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, assures that there is a risk that some group in Parliament will go into isolation due to Covid-19, which is why it will be extremely difficult to approve the new Government. Ciolacu affirms that the PSD cannot enter the room and will allow the new coalition to test its majority.

The PSD does not vote for any government and does not negotiate the position of Prime Minister. When Mr. Rafila is appointed, we will vote for a government. We have not yet decided what strategy we will follow: either we will vote against or we will not enter the room and let them do their majority.
I don’t understand why we risk so much. Whenever a political group can go into isolation, because the parliamentarians go to the group to the sessions and if one comes with Covid-19, the law tells us that everyone enters into isolation. It will be tremendously complicated, ”said Marcel Ciolacu.
