PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu said on Friday that the Finance Minister’s announcement on “fiscal consolidation” next year is actually an increase in taxes.
“Of course, we have an economic recovery: only that it is in double V, by Werner Iohannis! Today, the euro broke a new all-time high, a symbolic gesture for the liberal government in which only fantastic things happen. I am convinced that Romanians who pay bills or monthly loan installments appreciate this new success of the tax philosophy promoted only by hysterics.
But sadly, this is not the only bad news for Romanians. The minister who systematically buries Romania with aberrant loans tells us that fiscal consolidation will follow in 2021. To put it bluntly, this means that, starting this year, the Liberals will start to raise taxes!
Thus, the Orban government announces that the austerity that began this year due to the hundreds of thousands of jobs lost to the economy will be accentuated next year by higher taxes, which will affect all Romanians.
Ps: I understand that there is great joy in the Government because a large foreign bank would have recommended “Buy Romania”: I hope this does not mean a go-ahead from the NLP Government that energy companies and the banking sector can buy for nothing, it is say Hidroelecrica, Romgaz, CEC or Tarom … ”, wrote Marcel Ciolacu on Facebook.
