Liviu Dragnea, former PSD leader, turned 58 on Wednesday, October 28. On this anniversary, he was no longer celebrated, as in the past, by his political colleagues who probably forgot him, but his girlfriend wanted to mark this event with a special message.
“Tonight, I put on your robe, because I wanted to feel as close to you as possible. And Pinkie is attached to him, of course she misses you too. I miss you so much that I can’t describe in words how much my soul hurts, you I love and I want you to get out of there healthy and as soon as possible, to come back home, to us! ”wrote Irina Tănase in the message for Liviu Dragnea.
The former PSD leader has been at Rahova Penitentiary since May last year. Liviu Dragnea was sentenced on May 27, 2019, definitively, to three years and six months in prison with execution, in the case of fictitious employment of the Teleorman Child Protection Directorate.
The judges’ decision came a day after the PSD lost, by a very high score, the elections to the European Parliament.
Liviu Dragnea has health problems
Recently, as Irina Tănase, his girlfriend Liviu Dragnea, also revealed, she is facing quite serious health problems. He came to the doctor at Rahova Penitentiary about a month ago, complaining of severe pain in his spine.
“He feels bad about health problems and isolation for 23 of the 24 hours. He has a lumbar hernia and a cervical hernia, which is known before conviction. (…) These health problems have worsened a lot in the last three months. He was removed from work and remains in the room for 23 hours. He only goes out for an hour walk. (…) We turn to some institutions to solve, ”said Irina Tănase in an intervention on a television station.
