After the vote in Parliament, the new Prime Minister Florin Cîțu was asked about the dissatisfaction expressed by Dacian Cioloș towards the appointment of Sorin Cîmpeanu to the Ministry of Education.
“I know that in the coalition we have an agreement not to comment on the candidates of other political parties. I have not seen. Let me see and then we’ll talk. We in the coalition have an agreement not to comment, ”said Florin Cîţu, after the vote in Parliament.
He thus responded to a question from journalists about the statements of the USR PLUS co-president, Dacian Cioloș, who expressed his dissatisfaction with the appointment of Sorin Cîmpeanu to the Ministry of Education.
“Like much of civil society, personally, I am unhappy with the presence of Sorin Cîmpeanu in the Government and, as with many of my colleagues. I have known him for a long time, but the way he has acted politically and professionally in recent years it is far from what I think should be a dignified political path and a benchmark for education in Romania ”, said Cioloș.
