The bodies of five children were found in the apartment where they lived in the western German city of Solingen, local police announced, reports AFP, Reuters and dpa.
Police are tracking his murder by his own 27-year-old mother, who later attempted suicide by throwing herself in front of a train, according to the daily Bild. My mother was seriously injured. The information has been confirmed for dpa by security sources.

Alerted by the children’s grandmother, police found the bodies of the five children, aged between one and eight, in the young woman’s apartment in Solingen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
Then the mother jumped in front of a train at the Dusseldorf train station, more than 35 kilometers from her home.
Another 11-year-old son of the woman escaped alive, as she was with her grandmother.
