The AUR parliamentarians held in their hands, in the vote of the Government of Cîțu in Parliament, some posters that read: “reopen schools!”. What happened when they made this gesture, nobody noticed.
Diana Șoșoacă, AUR senator, explained what happened in Parliament in the vote of the Government of Cîțu. He said that he could not believe what he heard in the room after the statements of George Simion, the leader of the party to which he belongs.
“When George Simion spoke in plenary, we at AUR took a piece of paper that said: “Reopen schools!”. George Simion said they should be reopened. What did you get? As a mockery of the AUR party and those claimed by George Simion, you know what resounded down the hall: Mr. Simion, don’t you know it’s a vacation?“How insensitive … not to use another word … can it be when these children suffer, when these children are really tortured to sit in front of a computer for four or seven hours a day ?! And you make fun of us when we ask the reopening of schools … to tell us that Well it’s not a vacation? It’s fantastic. You can’t … It’s not just that they lack common sense … They don’t even have a limit. They have no sense of the ridiculous. They have no sense of proportion, they have no sense of pain, “said Daniela Șoșoacă without naming those who reacted this way.
George Simion, AUR leader, spoke out in favor of reopening schools after winter break, as well as businesses.
“It is time to reopen schools, that is what we ask of the new government. There are hundreds of thousands of teachers, there are hundreds of thousands of parents, the future of our children is at stake. Reopen schools to have a future (…) We owe it to ourselves anyway. “No matter how much they can, our money will be stolen anyway. Stop paying taxes, stop accepting, fight and reopen businesses, we reopen schools together, “said the AUR deputy.
