Confrontation between a policeman and a Gendarmerie officer, in Tecuci, Galați county. The incident began immediately after traffic police stopped a car on the right in the town of Tecuci, Galați County. At the wheel was a woman, and to her right a man, probably drinking alcohol. As the police discovered that the person at the wheel did not have the documents, they decided to give a warning, only things quickly degenerated. The passenger on the right, also employed by the Ministry of the Interior, became annoyed by the policeman’s intention and became increasingly vocal.

Galati Gendarmerie officials also had a reaction after discovering that the images had gone viral. Those responsible for the Galati Gendarmerie say they have also launched an internal investigation.

At the same time, we specify that the officer is not employed in a leadership position within the Galati County Gendarma Inspection, as he circulates in public space, fulfilling the function of a specialist officer within the Operational Management Service. The investigation is transferred to the Iași Military Prosecutor’s Office
The Galați Gendarmerie notified the case to the Military Prosecutor attached to the Iași Military Court, the institution announced this Sunday.

“According to the report prepared by the officer and based on the verifications carried out by the commission, it was ordered to notify the Military Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Iași Military Court about events that could be crimes,” say the representatives of the Galati Gendarmerie.
They specify that the officer is not employed in a leadership position within the Galati County Gendarme Inspectorate, but serves as a specialist officer within the Operational Management Service.
