Contacted by “Adevărul”, MP Cătălin Rădulescu, called Mitraliera, retaliated both for his exclusion and for the statements made by the president of PSD Piteşti.

I want to remind you of the time when you resigned from all PSD positions because PSD Piteşti organization positions were not appointed for positions in Bucharest.

I was more of a social democrat than him and his whole family for 25 years. I was the author of more than 60 laws. I have always defended my mayors. I have the respect of the mayors of the country. In the eight years since I have been a member of parliament, I have participated in all PSD actions on the front line.

I always respected my party. But they cannot respect the corrupt, the informants of the Securitate, the illiterate, and the agrammatists of the PSD. That is why I always chose to be part of a team of intellectuals, who represent the party and whom the PSD electorate respects, ”says Cătălin Rădulescu.

“My exclusion, a mafia execution”

The parliamentarian says that he will challenge the exclusion of the PSD because “the greatest hypocrisy of this PSD leadership and of Mr. Gentea as president of the municipal organization is that they do not tell the truth.”

“And I’ll say it, so that the whole electorate can hear: Mr. Gentea called me personally to tell me that Paul Stănescu called him on Tuesday and expressly asked him to quickly set up an online meeting and exclude me. Mr. Gentea told me on the phone that he asked Mr. Stanescu what was the reason for the exclusion, that I was ill.

And Paul Stanescu told him that no matter the reason, he should find some reason to exclude me. It’s a mob execution that I don’t agree with.

I stuck with high quality people at PSD. It’s funny to get rid of Carmen Dan, who was in self-isolation, and exclude me from the hospital. When I left the hospital, the vote on the motion was over, “Rădulescu explained.

“In the medium term, PSD will be a catastrophe”

Cătălin Rădulescu also states: “I am glad that they excluded me, even though they made it illegal and not statutory. Glad I broke up with these shoddy people. In the short and medium term, PSD will lose a lot. In the medium term, the PSD will be a catastrophe because when they lose the local and parliamentary elections, they will remain in the opposition for four years. For this reason, at least half of the PSD mayors will leave the party ”.

Cătălin Rădulescu says that after being excluded from the PSD, he was called on Tuesday 1 September by the leaders of three parties: “They proposed to meet me. I will meet with each leader. For now, I am an unaffiliated person. I will wait until September 27, when this PSD leadership will be a total disaster. I hope another direction is given to me. “

We remind you that four PSD MPs were excluded from the party, after they absent themselves from Monday’s vote of no confidence: Cătălin Rădulescu, Dan Ciocan, Adrian Todor and Roxana Paţurcă. The only one who escaped exclusion is Carmen Dan, a former Interior Minister, close to Liviu Dragnea.
