The two parties agreed on all aspects of the future of the club. If the talks materialize, there will be a real revolution at Dinamo. Spanish investors congratulated the fans, claiming that they were the reason why they decided to invest in Esteban el Grande.
The fans came up with a list of 10 concrete proposals, which included moving the club’s offices, opening a museum or changing the technical sponsor. Cortacero, instead, asked that fans be involved in the design of the new stadium. All requirements were expressed in a press release.

“Last night there was a first meeting between the DDB board and the new club management. Mr. Pablo Cortacero introduced himself as a representative of a group of investors, spoke about the project prepared for Dinamo and answered our questions.
The group he represents has been interested in investing in football for a long time, although for them this would be a first experience on the field.
Mr. Cortacero wanted to specify the reason why they decided to invest in Dinamo. His explanation, reinforced by the intervention of Rufo Collado, was that the references received about Dinamo presented a club of tradition, which tends to become the first club in Romania organized according to the SPANISH MODEL, that is, a SOLID ALLIANCE BETWEEN PARTNERS AND INVESTORS.
Several clubs that have this potential have been studied, but they chose Dinamo after watched videos with fans and after the characterizations received from people like Dorin Șerdean or Cosmin Contra.
This was followed by presentation of our project and discussions on harmonizing the two projects into a COMMON STRATEGY. The Spanish team was interested in knowing from us what is the stage of the discussions related to the construction of the new stadium, its location and our involvement in the relationship with the authorities. The wish of the majority shareholder is that the DDB team continue to deal with the PROCEDURES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW STADIUM.
Cosmin Contra’s involvement in this long-term project was appreciated, as it was seen as a guarantee of the success of this approach. We know that he wanted a project like this at Dinamo, we know that he really wants to perform and is the coach with whom I won the last trophy and with whom I was close to the title.
Other points raised and requests from us:
- 1. Development of the Dinamo Academy.
- 2. Bring the offices closer to the “house”, that is, in the area of Ștefan cel Mare.
- 3. Opening of a Dinamo store in the same building as the new FC Dinamo Bucharest headquarters.
- 4. Joint project on the Dinamo Museum.
- 5. The projected budget for this competitive year.
- 6. Choose a technical sponsor to take into account our project with the names of the DDB members on the shirt.
- 7. Participation of DDB in the promotion and support of activities related to marketing and ticket sales.
- 8. Inform the majority shareholder about the shares held by supporters and the status of ProgramDDB loans. 9. Analysis of the precarious situation in which the club is currently.
- 10. The need for reform within the club.
The majority shareholder received assurances from us that if they invest and act in such a way that Dinamo performs, they will have the full support of the most dedicated fans.
Rufo Collado concluded, who in a few words expressed a beautiful truth, which can be the summary of our struggle in the last 10 months: “If it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t be here today. For two reasons: because, without the fans, Dinamo would not have attracted us and because without you, today, Dinamo would not have existed”, It is shown in the statement from the Dinamo fans.
