Pablo Cortacero (42 years old), its main shareholder Dynamo, released an official statement on Friday, trying to reassure fans. The Iberian investor claimed that he had called the meeting of the Board of Directors to increase the share capital by 5 million euros.
I first want to send a sincere apology for the situation Dinamo is in at the moment. The late payment and poor management of this company have caused uncertainty to spread between the fans and the club.
Through this statement I want to convey silence and specify that today a first payment was made for salaries and suppliers, the money will go to the club’s accounts at the beginning of next week. Today, the members of the Board of Directors were summoned to increase the club’s share capital with the amount of 5 million euros. I am aware of the difficulties the club is going through during this period, but I am sending a message of commitment to Dinamo to all the fans. I am fully involved in this project, I did not have it and I do not intend to abandon it!
