Diana Şoşoacă, senator elect for the 2020-2024 legislature and one of the leaders of the political party Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), did not wear a mask inside the Palace of Parliament, which led to her having a medical certificate that allows her not respecting this measure, writes Agerpres.

Among its legislative priorities is the cancellation of fines imposed on citizens in a pandemic. “We will have to ask for the annulment of all the fines issued in the state of alert and in the state of emergency, an amnesty, that’s how it will go, I’m already working on that and, obviously, the suspension of President Iohannis.” (…) We will also demand the repeal of laws 136/2020 and 55/2020 “, declared Şoşoacă to Parliament.

“Every year we had epidemics, there was also a pandemic of avian flu, swine flu, Ebola. There has always been a legislative framework in Romania that has allowed action to be taken. It has always been by order of the minister, there is specific legislation for the epidemic and pandemic ”, he also specified.

Among others, the Minister of the Interior, Marcel Vela; Gabriela Firea, former mayor of the Capital, and Florin Cîţu, supported by the PNL for the post of prime minister.
