CTP, after the decision on the fines: CCR behaves like a super government of Romania. Dorneanu, a dark character

Journalist Cristian Tudor Popescu harshly attacked the CCR’s decision regarding fines granted during the state of emergency, accusing some judges of not having the necessary competence to make decisions related to constitutionality, being named politically.

In an interview given to irtirile Pro TV correspondent Ovidiu Oanţ, Cristian Tudor Popescu commented on the CCR’s decision to declare the emergency ordinance unconstitutional, which increased the fines granted as of April 1, for non-compliance with the restrictions.

The journalist correctly considers the way in which the Orban government acted during this period and accuses the PSD of “speculating, with cynicism”, the unpopular decisions of the current rulers, which led them to dislike the citizens.

If we look at what happened and what is happening now in states with populist-national-nationalist-extremist leaderships, such as the United States, Brazil, Great Britain, Russia, we see that the death toll is enormous and constantly increasing due to this criminal policy . that the leaders of these countries brought citizens. To win the sympathy of citizens, everyone decided to consider and try to impose on citizens the idea that this disease does not mean much, that the economy must resume, that we should not take it into account, with the results that I was telling them. . The Romanian governors have assumed, what President Iohannis said today is correct, they have taken some measures and an unpopular, unsympathetic policy. People did not have to thank the Government for being locked up in their homes, for losing their job, for not having money, for being in this difficult state, from a social and human point of view. And then the equivalent of these politicians from the countries we name in Romania appeared, led by the PSD. That they only speculate, cynically, this correct position of the Government and the President, but unpopular. And then they want to look like friends of the people, these are the ones that torment you, we are the ones who want to free you, not pay fines, do whatever you want, because in fact they want to impose a dictatorship here, that’s why they make them stay. And in fact everything is a conspiracy, because in fact this is the whole story, a conspiracy against the Romanians, in which, with external support, the rulers participate “Cristian Tudor Popescu said.

CTP: CCR behaves like a super government of Romania

However, when asked if CCR should not be separated from political decisions, Cristian Tudor Popescu specified that, even in theory, this will not happen, because the judges are politically appointed.

“Not even theoretically, how to separate CCR from political influences, when everyone named there is named politically. CCR is currently behaving like a super government in Romania. Make some decisions that block, torpedo the actions and decisions of the incumbent government, democratically elected and appointed. This is not the job of the Constitutional Court “said the journalist.

Cristian Tudor Popescu questioned the training of some of the judges of the Constitutional Court, headed by President Valer Dorneanu.

“Let’s think about what CCR really means. Well, we have people of a certain age and experience, morality, prestige and, first of all, professional prestige in the country. People who should be constitutionalists, then constitutional jurists. So how is it possible to block the actions of a government of some characters who are simply politicians, such as Enache, a former MP, people like Gheorghe Stan, who do not have the slightest legal scope and prestige, and the experience and age required in the profession. Valer Dorneanu himself, a dark figure with some legal education, a professional parliamentary politician, how can these people decide on constitutional issues? They are not qualified, they are not specialists in such a thing. They do not enjoy any authority in this field. It is fundamentally incorrect what it is called to these people, some professionalism criteria should be introduced there“said Cristian Tudor Popescu.

The press added that what CCR actually did, through Wednesday’s decision, was “to try to awaken antipathy and even hatred for the current government.”

“The current government has made mistakes, but the measures that have been taken now have been correct and effective. Ohannis is right to say that there have been more deaths. Look at the United States, Brazil, Russia, we have a clear example there.” Why does it happen if you refuse to be unpopular and want to pass as a friend to people, the result is the death of many people?“said CTP.
