Coronavirus Romania, balance December 1. So far, 479,634 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 4,272 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Distinguished from newly confirmed cases, after retesting of patients who were already positive, 455 people were positively reconfirmed.
As of Tuesday, 11,530 people diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 infection had died.
Between 30.11.2020 (10:00) – 01.12.2020 (10:00) 199 deaths were reported (130 men and 69 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj hospitals , Constanța, Dâmbovița, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Mureș, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vâlcea, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, Two deaths were recorded in the age group 30 to 39 years., 13 deaths in the age group 40-49 years, 14 deaths in the age group 50-59 years, 51 deaths in the age group 60-69 years, 66 deaths in the age group 70- 79 years and 53 deaths in those over 80 years.
178 of the deaths registered were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 5 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 16 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,438. Of these, 1,259 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 4,122,192 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 14,588 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 9,551 according to the case definition and medical protocol and 5,037 upon request.
Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 37 tests processed before the last 24 hours and sent until December 1 have been reported.
In Romania, 45,863 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,186 people are in institutionalized isolation. Furthermore, 65,772 people are in home quarantine and 63 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 3,851 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 661 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 30 of this year, 6,653 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,175,080 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 5 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
