During the same period, on the border with Hungary, some 16,400 people and 10,500 means of transport went to the control procedures, of which about 8,600 people with 5,900 means of transport were heading to the country, is shown in an IGPF statement. .
At the same time, the border police detected, in the last 24 hours, 34 illegal acts, 11 crimes and 23 contraventions, committed by Romanian citizens and foreigners.
According to the cited source, in the areas of competition, the crossing points and the “green border”, the police discovered, independently or in collaboration with other institutions, undeclared goods (that would be illegally introduced into the country), exceeding the limit admitted or suspected customs officer. be counterfeited, for a total value of approximately 7,400 lei.
