Most Romanian counties today register more than 100 new coronavirus infections, according to the daily balance provided by the authorities. In addition, Cluj County exceeds the threshold of 5 cases per thousand inhabitants. Dolj is the only county that entered the red stage today, implying an infection rate of more than 3 per thousand.
To date, on November 3, in Romania, 258,437 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed, and 181,175 patients were declared cured.
Most of the new cases today were registered in Bucharest (762), Cluj (355), Timiș (318), Maramureș (254) and Bihor (249).
In addition, the highest incidence of cases is in Sălaj county, which increases to 5.2 per thousand, followed by Cluj, with a rate of 5.08 per thousand.
The counties with more than 4 infections per thousand inhabitants (calculated in the last 14 days) are: Alba (4.61), Timiș (4.56), Sibiu (4.26), Bihor (4.13), followed by Bucharest (3.94), Arad (3.56), Mureș (3.4) and Dolj (3.07).
The counties with a low incidence of infection cases per thousand inhabitants, in the last two weeks, are Tulcea (0.95), Vrancea (1.12), Călăraşi (1.18), Olt (1.26), Brăila ( 1, 36) and Buzau (1.37).
Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, there were 7,733 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), cases that had not previously had a positive test.
