CFR Cluj may lose Damjan Djokovic! 700,000 euro offer from the United Arab Emirates
CFR Cluj received an offer from 700,000 euros for Damjan Djokovic (30 years old), the Croatian midfielder who has played in Gruia since 2017. The team that puts this amount on the table is Al Dhafra, from the United Arab Emirates, which also offers a salary tailored to the footballer.
Djokovic would collect annually one million euros, and the Croatian seems ready to leave CFR Cluj, as you have had other opportunities to transfer in the past, including Gaziantep, Marius Șumudică’s team, but the management did not let him.
Al Dhafra, led by the Serbian coach Alexander Veselinovc, occupies the tenth place in the United Arab Emirates, with 15 points accumulated in the first 10 stages of the championship that has 14 teams.
Djokovic, three-time Romanian champion with CFR Cluj, collected 150 games for the Transylvanians, managing to score 13 goals and provide 15 assists. This season, it has been used in 23 games.
Among the teams Djokovic has played for are Spartak Trnava, Monza, Cesena, Bologna, Livorno, Ajaccio, Furth, Spezia and Rijeka.

Edward Iordănescu: “It is possible that the 3-4-5 players will go away”
In an intervention in the Fotbal Club program, a few days ago, the CFR Cluj technician acknowledged that there will be more departures and more arrivals during this winter break.
“So far there is no official departure or arrival. Now it’s hard for me to decide. The focus was on this period. I analyzed and the conclusion was that I do not want many changes.
It is possible that the 3-4-5 players will leave, because it is a pretty rich group and now we only have one competition left. I don’t want the players to stay in the stands, but we have a balanced team.
When we come, we want one, or at most two players to help us change the look of the game a bit offensively. The market is very cheap. There are two or three interesting players at Dinamo, but it depends on how they solve their problems. (…)
I worked with Pițian for a year and a half, it has potential. In the centrals it is possible that another will come out. We’re looking for attacking midfielders, maybe a striker, to see if we lose something. “said Edi Iordănescu at Fotbal Club.
