Before handing over his mandate, Cătălin Predoiu made a brief statement to the press, in which he explained that the fulfillment of the objectives in the field of Justice cannot be done without cooperation between the Government and Parliament, but also between the magistrate associations.
“We must concentrate on meeting the expectations of the citizens. Without the cooperation between the Legislative and Executive Branches, the objectives of Justice cannot be achieved, no matter how much effort the Ministry of Justice and Minister Stelian Ion make. support of the Parliament. This condition is now together, since yesterday we have a pro-justice majority in the Romanian Parliament, we have a unity of objectives between the Executive and the majority in the Legislative, a unity of objectives that did not exist until yesterday. It is well known that the objectives of the Orban Government in justice were not The objectives of the majority of the PSD in Parliament, but this impediment is now removed by the will of the citizens, I would add that a successful mandate also requires the support of the Ministry of Finance and much cooperation of the judiciary. I am also referring to the magistrates’ associations, “said Predoiu, after receiving Stelian Ion at the MJ headquarters.
