Buzău PSD senator Lucian Romașcanu responded after political analyst Bogdan Chirieac accused the Social Democrats of “a catastrophic failure in the opposition.”
Political analyst Bogdan Chirieac said on Wednesday that the PSD had shown a “catastrophic failure in the opposition”, after ignoring criticism of GEO 13 and participating in the “audience masquerade.”
Buzău PSD senator Lucian Romașcanu responded to what Bogdan Chirieac said.
“With all due respect to Mr. Chirieac, I think he is exaggerating when making the diagnosis that he does. In the first place, I said with all my strength and acted accordingly on the violation of the Constitution by the president, anticipating both the masquerade of consultations and everything that happens. Romașcanu said on Antena 3.
The Social Democratic senator also stressed that “it must be understood that in the parliamentary process the vote decides. For the moment, Parliament’s calendar or program is made by the Permanent Office, in which the PSD is a minority ”.
Romașcanu: We have two options
Romașcanu then explained that PSD has two options in the current situation: the option to leave and the option to express its opinion.
“We have two options here: the option to leave and behave like the RSU and the option to express our opinions, criticize and sanction with the vote. We are present in the Commissions to put the mirror in front of the ministers, many of them incompetent, we were present to sanction by vote “against” the aberrant proposal of the PNL, “explained the PSD senator.
Later, Lucian Romașcanu specified that “A program has been established, we use it to send messages. Things must be interpreted in this key. We assure our activists and voters that we will face the toughest opposition possible.”
Finally, Romașcanu recalled that “this sinister donkey with money distribution has criminal complaints, he has a complaint in dispute and everything we can do, we will do it.”
“The PSD cannot leave the microphone and voice alone to power, resigning or leaving the institution just because someone thinks better of it,” added the PSD senator from Buzău.
