The Public Health Directorates will send no later than December 5 to the electoral offices of the circumscriptions the list of people for whom isolation or quarantine has been established and for whom they have requested to vote in a mobile ballot box, according to the Office’s decision Electoral Central.
Citizens voted in quarantine can vote by submitting a request to this effect accompanied by the quarantine decision issued by the DSP.
Isolates can vote by submitting an application and copy of: discharge note (confirming diagnosis and isolation indication), isolation decision submitted by DSP, and positive COVID-19 test result in the last 14 days .
According to the BEC decision, the requests related to the issuance of the necessary documents for the exercise of the vote through the special ballot box are also requests for the exercise of the right to vote, reports Mediafax.
„In the case of persons in which case the public health directorates have confirmed according to art. 2.The establishment of isolation or quarantine, the electoral offices / electoral offices of the district circumscription, as the case may be, will print the applications related to the issuance of the documents necessary for the exercise of the vote through the special ballot box provided in the art. 1 par. (7) of the decision of the Central Electoral Office No. 40/2020, republished, which transmits, together with the decisions issued by the public health directorates, through the institution of the prefect, no later than December 6 of 2020, at 10:00 am, the polling station of the closest table to the building where the transfer of the special ballot box was requested ”, is also shown in the BEC decision.
