On Friday, the National Weather Administration (ANM) issued a Yellow Code warning of heightened atmospheric instability, valid in several counties.
According to the NMA alert, between May 15, 1:00 PM and May 16, 3:00 AM, 13 counties will be subject to a yellow code for atmospheric instability.
Thus, in the first part of the interval, in the northwest and center of the country, and in the afternoon and at night and in the northern half of Moldova, the atmospheric instability will be accentuated and will manifest itself with frequent electric discharges, wind intensifications with gusts of more than 60 – 70 km / h.
In the high mountain area, the wind will blow with more than 80 – 90 km / h, there will be storms, hail and rains that can have a torrential character. Occasionally, the amounts of water will exceed 25 l / m2.
The counties subject to the new Yellow Code warning are: Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Cluj, Covasna, Harghita, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mureş, Neamţ, Sălaj, Satu Mare and Suceava.
