The Ombudsman noted, among other things, that the National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of the Child and Adoption (ANPDCA) is implementing a project through which, by the end of 2023, the current maternity care network will will expand by approximately 4,000 people. , and all the nurses currently in the system, as well as new employees through the project, respectively, 15,000 nurses in the system will benefit from continuing professional development. The Authority undertook to take into account the recommendation of the Ombudsman, in the preparation of the public policy proposal, regarding the improvement and diversification of alternative care services in institutions.
