Romania became a star in the international press, after the police, either national or local, fined them for automatically shooting! More than 300,000 Romanians were fined for violating the provisions of the military ordinances. More than 100,000 of those punished are over 65 years old. Justice was done by the Constitutional Court, which ruled that the fines were unconstitutional.
Bogdan Despescu, secretary of state at the Home Office, made a mind-blowing statement Wednesday night on the Victor Ciutacu program on România TV. Despescu tried to deny the evidence and said that the police did not intend to fine Romanians, although in no country was there a similar episode, but something similar.

“Our goal was not to impose fines, but to avoid them. Citizens should be treated in the same way as the law. A small number of citizens did not respect the law,” said Bogdan Despescu, secretary of state at the interior ministry.
