Romanians who come from abroad will no longer be forced into quarantine or isolation, according to the alert bill. Those who return to the country must present a medical certificate indicating that they do not have COVID-19.

The certificate, issued no later than 48 hours before entering Romania, must be presented at the border. You must certify that the person returning to the country does not have COVID-19.

The document must be translated into Romanian, but not for those returning from the Republic of Moldova.

Additionally, COVID-19 suspects may be isolated or quarantined. For example, those who do not present this document to the doctor or those who have come into contact with confirmed persons.

And air travel will be totally different. In the alert state, the Ministry of Transport can request clear rules for the sanitation of airports, airplanes and other equipment.

There will also be measures of social distancing and rules of conduct. The set of rules will also be established by the ministry.

The law with measures that could be applied on alert passed the final vote in Parliament on Wednesday.
