A Tulcea man left without a luxury car, after illegally parking it. What detail did the police discover

According to a statement from the Coast Guard, on December 27 the Border Police carried out, based on some information, an action in the line of preventing and combating international traffic with stolen cars.

Thus, a luxury car, registered in Romania, was found in Constance, of which there was information that it was brought to the attention of the authorities.

After specific checks, the vehicle was found to be listed as a wanted item for confiscation, an alert introduced by German authorities. The car belonged to a 38-year-old Romanian citizen, domiciled in Tulcea County, who claimed that he bought it without knowing that he had stolen it, ”the Coast Guard statement reads.

The cited source mentions that a team of the Local Police was also present at the scene, which applied a penalty for illegal parking offenses.

The car, worth about 1,000,000 lei, was not available at the Coast Guard headquarters. Border guards are investigating the crime of cover-up.
