A 54-year-old Romanian is charged with attempted murder after, blinded by jealousy, he intentionally beat his ex-wife’s boyfriend. The big event took place in Romentino, Italy, according to observatornews.ro.
On Saturday night, shortly before 11 pm, a 49-year-old Romanian was hit by a car while walking with his girlfriend, on a street in Romentino.
Instead of stopping, the driver fled the scene of the accident.
Seriously wounded, the Romanian was transported in code red to the Maggiore Hospital in Novara, and the policemen summoned at the scene began an investigation to establish the circumstances in which the impact occurred.
Although at first it seemed like an accident, it later turned out that it was, in fact, an assassination attempt.
After the investigations, the carabinieri solved the mystery and reconstituted the film of the incident.

Thus, it seems that the man was run over by another 54-year-old Romanian, who, while at the wheel of his car, saw him on the street in the company of his ex-wife.
The Romanian passed over his rival twice
Angry and blinded by jealousy, the driver pressed the gas pedal, intending to hit the two of them.
The 49-year-old man managed to push his girlfriend in front of the car at the last minute, as he was thrown onto the sidewalk.
According to the newsbiella.it publication, the ex-husband then fled the scene, but not before running over his rival twice.
The carabinieri caught him hours later at his home in Tornaco.
The man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
