In the last 24 hours, there were 10,142 new cases of COVID-19. Another 121 Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus, while in intensive care the number of COVID patients increased and reached a new record: 1,152.

To date, on November 12, in Romania, 334,236 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

224,916 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 10,142 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Aside from the newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 2,599 people were positively reconfirmed.

Only one county is on the green stage, while four counties have already exceeded the infection rate of 6 per thousand.

To date, 8,510 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 11.11.2020 (10:00) – 12.11.2020 (10:00) 121 deaths were reported (77 men and 44 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Iași, Maramureș, Mureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Ilfov and Bucarest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 10 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 37 deaths in the age category age 60-69 years, 37 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 31 deaths in the category over 80 years.

117 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 1 deceased patient did not present comorbidities and of 3 deceased patients so far no comorbidities have been reported.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,852. Of these, 1,152 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,593,720 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 35,762 were performed in the last 24 hours, 20,855 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 14,907 upon request.

In Romanian territory, 44,243 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 13,013 people are in institutionalized isolation. In addition, 81,163 people are in home quarantine and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4,566 calls have been registered to the single emergency number 112 and 816 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 11 of this year, 8,861 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,418,356 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 8 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,862 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
