A terrible case took place on Tuesday afternoon at the entrance to Ia toi.
A multi-year-old girl and a driver were killed in a car accident. The man was driving a truck when he lost control of the mastodon on a dangerous descent. The truck ran off the road, knocked over a stone fence from a house and stopped at the house. Earlier, he fatally beat the girl who was in the yard.
The truck driver came from Constanța. A surveillance camera in the area recorded the moments before the tragic impact.
witness: “A truck, here in Bucium. A truck went around a curve, went into a house. Look where the truck went, look! Cica caught a boy, caught a girl, underneath, she was in the yard, playing! God forbid!”
Due to speed and balance, the container from the trailer fell off and tipped over in the opposite direction. Then the head of the truck and the trailer hit the stone fence like a cannonball and then the house.
In the yard was the 3-year-old girl with her grandmother. The girl had no chance. She was crushed under the wheels of the truck and died instantly. Her grandmother was slightly injured and refused to go to the hospital. The trucker also died, trapped between the cab and the walls of the house he entered.
Police continue to investigate the scene, in a wrongful death case.
